What is my function? In this versatile function, you will undertake the independent processing of the operational purchasing of parquet, solid wood, and accessories domestically and abroad. You ensure timely procurement with regard to price, quantity, availability, and stock levels and coordinate the transport as well as the control of deliveries and invoices. Additionally, you conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers and work closely with the sales, production, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure timely order processing. Furthermore, you participate in the production planning at Ölstrasse for the refinement of parquet planks, maintain article and supplier master data in the ERP system, and are responsible for audit preparation as well as maintaining FSC and PEFC certifications. In doing so, you take personal responsibility, actively contribute to purchasing processes, negotiate confidently with suppliers, and contribute significantly to purchasing success through your forward-looking actions. What do I need to be successful? For this demanding task, you have a commercial vocational training or basic training in the wood industry in combination with pronounced commercial expertise. You bring experience in purchasing, ideally in the wood or parquet industry, and convince through your negotiation skills as well as your entrepreneurial thinking. Your structured, precise, and independent way of working distinguishes you as much as your proficient use of MS Office, ERP systems, and your IT affinity. Furthermore, you work in a solution-oriented manner, enjoy taking responsibility, appreciate varied tasks, and actively help shape purchasing.
