Job Description

As an Application Technician Wood Fiber Insulation Materials, you will advise our customers on technical issues and develop practical solutions for the application of our products. In addition, you will conduct training sessions and work closely with quality assurance and product development.

Your Tasks

• Technical advice and support for our customers (carpentry businesses, timber construction companies, architects, and dealers) regarding the application of our wood fiber insulation materials
• Development of application-technical detailed solutions and system recommendations for the building envelope (roof, wall, ceiling)
• Conducting product training and practical seminars for customers as well as internal employees
• Interface between the market, quality assurance, and product development for the continuous optimization of our range
• Creation of technical documentation, processing guidelines, and manuals
• Processing of complaints and damage analyses on-site

Your Competencies and Experience

• Basic training in timber construction (carpenter, timber construction technician HF) or comparable technical training
• Further training in the field of building physics, insulation technology, or timber construction is an advantage
• Profound practical and application knowledge in the processing of insulation materials
• Strong in communication, high service orientation, and enjoyment of customer contact
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Good IT user skills (MS-Office, ideally CAD/timber construction programs)
• Willingness to travel, predominantly in Switzerland
