The Information department produces numerous offerings for audio, video, and the digital channels of SRF. With versatile news and background formats as well as interpretative discussion and advisory programs on current events in politics, economy, and society, SRF facilitates the audience's opinion formation - informative, competent, and independent.

What are your tasks? ####

The editorial team «Arena» is offering an internship position from 8 February to 7 July 2027. We are happy to receive your application by 15 November 2026.

During your internship, you will be involved in the following areas:

• As an intern for «Arena», you will be closely involved in helping to shape a discussion on current topics from politics, economy, and society.
• You will write dossiers on current topics and draft press texts.
• You will research facts and support the producer, the editors, and the moderator in the production of the program.
• On Fridays, you will be present live during the rehearsals and during the broadcast.

What do you bring with you? ####

• You have a great interest in journalism and preferably have initial journalistic experience.
• You bring a solid political background - especially regarding Swiss politics - and want to delve deeper into research.
• You can think quickly and in a networked manner.
• You are flexible and communicative and keep a cool head even in hectic situations.

What can you look forward to? ####

• As an intern for «Arena», you will dive deep into a political dossier every week and be very close to political events.
