What you can contribute

• Ensure local responsibility for the information system security posture on assigned sites, in accordance with applicable security requirements, internal directives, and current procedures.
• Conduct and maintain local authorization, accreditation, and continuous monitoring activities, including security documentation, self-assessments, audits, and follow-up on corrective measures.
• Ensure functional supervision of Cyber security officers and coordinate, at the local level, security activities with system administrators, security, COMSEC, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure local implementation of applicable national and international security directives, procedures, and controls, particularly regarding access management, configuration, media protection, incidents, logs, and system changes.
• Advise relevant managers and privileged users on information security requirements, cyber risks, protection measures, and documentary compliance.

What makes you unique

• Higher education or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in information system security, ideally in a military, aeronautical, mission systems, or critical systems environment.
• Good knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, as well as authorization processes within the Swiss government, auditing, and risk management.
• Ability to exercise functional supervision, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and translate governance requirements into concrete operational measures.
• Very good analytical and writing skills, particularly for security documentation, standard procedures, accreditation files, audit reports, and action plans.

This function plays a key role in the local security of critical operational information environments. It is located at the interface between governance, operational security, system administration, and compliance requirements. The holder contributes directly to the security posture of the sites, system compliance, and the sustainable operational capacity of the concerned environments.

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and all military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes, in particular, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command, as well as the Military Police.
