Introduction

For an established and internationally active large customer, we are looking for a committed personality in the area of Packaging Procurement who impresses with strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and initiative. Tasks

• Responsibility for all procurement activities of the assigned material groups and suppliers
• Support of strategic procurement in the evaluation, selection, and further development of suppliers
• Obtaining, checking, and comparing offers as well as developing optimization possibilities
• Conducting supplier negotiations and ensuring optimal conditions
• Support and further development of the existing supplier network
• Processing of supplier documents, procurement documents, and business correspondence
• Checking of invoices and accompanying documents for completeness and accuracy
• Observation of market and competitive situations as well as identification of procurement potentials
• Collaboration in cross-functional projects and continuous optimization of procurement processes
• Maintenance and updating of master data

Profile

• Completed commercial or technical basic training
• Ideally further training in procurement (e.g., Einkaufsfachmann/-frau mit eidg. Fachausweis or comparable further training)
• Several years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in the area of packaging or industry
• Business fluent German skills as well as good English skills
• Good SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• High level of initiative, reliability, and enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external partners
