For our client, an established company in the field of metal processing and precision technology in the St. Gallen region, we are looking for a knowledgeable personality in the field of quality assurance and metrology, immediately or by arrangement. Metrology Technician QA (m/f/d) 100% Tasks In this role, you are responsible for the setup and operation of modern 3D measuring machines as well as other measuring instruments. You carry out incoming, intermediate, and final inspections independently and ensure seamless documentation of the results. First article inspections are carried out and recorded professionally by you. Furthermore, you support production with first-piece and intermediate inspections and ensure the proper maintenance of the measuring instruments according to the requirements of ISO 9001. Requirements You have completed vocational training as a polymechanic, CNC mechanic, or an equivalent technical basic training. Additionally, you bring experience in quality assurance within the metal processing industry; relevant further training is an advantage. You feel confident in handling optical and tactile measuring systems. Personally, you are characterized by a reliable and precise way of working as well as a strong awareness of quality. Good German skills in speaking and writing are required, English skills are welcome.
