Job Description #

Within BMC SSI SA, you will join our IT team and intervene in the environments of our clients in French-speaking Switzerland. You will participate in the design, deployment, evolution, and securing of their network infrastructures, both On-Premise and within our Private Cloud.

You will work on varied projects: modernization of corporate networks, deployment of security solutions, Wi-Fi, site interconnections, and securing services exposed on the Internet. You will also contribute to architecture choices, the definition of our technical standards, and the evolution of our service and skill offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and evolve the network infrastructures of our clients: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and site interconnections
• Implement and administer network security solutions: firewalls, VPN, segmentation, filtering, and access securing
• Participate in Web service securing projects: WAF, Reverse Proxy, DMZ, and secure publication of services
• Accompany our clients in the analysis of their needs and propose solutions adapted to their technical and business constraints
• Document deployed environments and contribute to the definition of standards and best practices.
• Intervene on complex incidents in support of the support team
• Ensure technological monitoring on domain evolutions: SASE, ZTNA, Cloud Networking, Wi-Fi, and access security

Profile sought

We are looking for a person with solid experience in network infrastructures and cybersecurity, capable of intervening autonomously in client environments while collaborating closely with technical teams.

Qualifications, training, and experience

Ideally, you have:

• Higher education in computer science, telecommunications, networks, or an equivalent field, or professional experience deemed equivalent
• Several years of experience in the fields of network, infrastructure, or IT security, ideally within an IT services company
• A good mastery of firewalling solutions, notably Fortinet and Sophos
• Proven experience with enterprise network technologies: VLAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
• Good knowledge of professional Wi-Fi infrastructures
• Mastery of issues related to remote access, network segmentation, site interconnections, and the secure publication of services
• An interest in modern security and access architectures such as SASE and ZTNA
• General knowledge of Microsoft environments and associated infrastructure services: Active Directory, RADIUS, PKI, and authentication

Experience or certifications in technologies such as Fortinet, Sophos, HPE Aruba, Cisco, or Ubiquiti constitute an advantage.
