Construction Economist (M/F)

We are recruiting on behalf of a civil engineering office for a Construction Economist to participate in the estimation, analysis, and economic monitoring of various projects.

You will intervene in the different phases of the projects, from cost estimation to the preparation of calls for tenders, in close collaboration with the various technical offices and specialists involved.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate quotes for projects
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and technical plans
• Prepare and write tender documents and submissions
• Establish comparative tables and participate in the analysis of received offers
• Study and analyze construction ratios
• Ensure coordination with the various technical offices: HVAC, geotechnics, and architectural lots
• Write the various technical documents necessary for the projects

Profile

• Training in the field of construction economics, civil engineering, or equivalent training
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function in Switzerland
• Good knowledge of Swiss norms and standards: SIA, CFC, and CAN
• Mastery of AutoCAD and Revit drawing tools
• Knowledge of specialized software such as Messerli or Attic+
• Ability to write submissions, quotes, and other technical documents
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
• Good interpersonal skills and taste for teamwork
• Rigor, analytical capacity, and sense of organization
