Its mission is to guarantee the quality and safety of care within the institution. As such, the head of care has the right to oversee all care activities (nursing and different health professionals). To fulfill its mission, it relies on three poles of expertise: Professional practices, interprofessionalism, and transformation in care. Job description ## The clinical specialists attached to the pole of clinical expertise and professional practices of the Care Management constitute a team of expert professionals in different areas of care and contribute through their actions to the improvement of practices and the quality of care provided to patients, within the institution. They are grouped by clinical specialty or program such as the wound and healing program. At the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève, the wound and healing program is attached to the clinical expertise and professional practices pole of the Care Management. This program has three objectives: to reduce the prevalence of bedsores within the institution, to develop the expertise of the care teams in the management of wounds and healing, and to promote the development, dissemination, and implementation of recommendations, protocols, and clinical practices based on proven results. To date, the team consists of a responsible doctor, a researcher, two nurse specialists, and two specialized nurses. Its members intervene as consultants and clinical experts with collaborators and patients. The team members ensure the implementation of good practice recommendations and accompany collaborators in the development of their knowledge and skills in the field of wounds. The wound and healing program, in partnership with the Care Management, is looking for a physiotherapist able to exercise a function of expert and clinical leader in the field of wounds and healing to strengthen its team, in direct connection with clinical activity. You intervene transversally within the different departments and throughout the services of the HUG, with adult and child patients suffering from skin lesions such as multifactorial lower limb ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-operative or traumatic wounds in complex situations, as well as with care professionals, in order to ensure optimal care for the patient. You develop care protocols and work on projects to improve clinical practices. You introduce updated practices based on proven results at the level of care and therapies in collaboration with management staff. You accompany patients and support care teams in the trajectories of people suffering from wounds, through clinical pathways. With a real interest in teaching and support, you design and provide training for different health professionals in the field of wounds, healing, and compression. Through your curiosity and updating of your knowledge, you participate in the development of knowledge in this field. Qualifications ## You have a Bachelor HES or a physiotherapist diploma considered equivalent. You have a second-cycle university degree, such as a Master's degree in health sciences. Training or experience in drainage and compression is an asset. You have 5 years of experience. You master the approaches and therapies in physiotherapy with patients presenting wounds or healing disorders, and ensure the evolution of new therapeutic developments. You master the administration of treatments as well as care, surveillance, and associated technical aspects. You know the different structures of the HUG, as well as the care network. You have a good ability to conceptualize, argue, and synthesize. You are a force of proposal and have the ability to innovate. You have skills in animation strategies, analysis of professional practice, and support for care teams. You have good priority management and the ability to adapt to stressful situations. You have a good written understanding of English and master common office tools. Experience in participating in working groups and project management is an additional asset. You have excellent relational and collaborative skills and are able to work in interprofessionalism. You know how to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and show great rigor. You are also able to position yourself in complex situations.
