Within our 4x8 maintenance team in Avenches, you will contribute directly to the availability, reliability, and performance of our production equipment. You will perform preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance activities to ensure the continuity of operations. Thanks to your technical skills and analytical capacity, you will diagnose malfunctions, identify their causes, and implement sustainable solutions. You will also participate in the development of the team's knowledge by clearly documenting your interventions, writing technical instructions, and supporting technical operators in the use and mastery of equipment.

Maintenance Technician in 4x8 schedule

How will you have an impact as a Maintenance Technician in 4x8 schedule?

• Perform diagnostics and resolve breakdowns in various technical fields: mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, automation, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, operators, daytime maintenance teams, and external service providers.
• Identify the root causes of malfunctions and propose reliable and lasting technical solutions.
• Contribute to the improvement of safety, quality, and compliance of the installations.
• Ensure clear and structured traceability of your interventions and guarantee the quality of technical data.
• Use digital maintenance and intervention management tools, including SAP, POKA, and TrendMiner.
• Share your knowledge and support the skill development of operators and your colleagues.
• Identify and implement improvements contributing to industrial performance, cost reduction, and the sustainability of the installations.

What will make you successful

• You hold a technical qualification in the field of industrial maintenance (CFC in the fields of electrotechnics, automation, or an equivalent training).
• You have successful experience in a manufacturing industrial environment.
• You possess practical experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• You hold an OIBT electrical certification (article 13 or 15), or are willing to obtain it as part of your role.
• You communicate clearly and adapt your message to your various interlocutors.
• You have a good analytical spirit and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• You are autonomous, organized, and capable of managing your priorities according to operational needs.
• You demonstrate initiative and are proactive.
