For the palliative care unit, we are looking for a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH (60 - 90%) immediately or by agreement. In palliative care, we care for people with severe, incurable illnesses. Our goal is to maintain the best possible quality of life for our patients and to alleviate distressing symptoms. Our interprofessional team works closely with the University Hospital Basel, other hospitals, general practitioners, and other health services. Your tasks You will take over the care of seriously ill people and their relatives with a lot of tact and a high sense of responsibility in the reference nursing system (three-shift system). You will work as a true team player, closely and trustfully, in the interprofessional team. You will pass on your specialist knowledge and experience to our trainees. You will actively support us in establishing new processes and structures for continuously optimal nursing and service quality. You bring A diploma as a nursing specialist HF or a completed bachelor's degree in nursing FH. Proven professional experience with additional qualifications in palliative care or the willingness to acquire them. A tangible identification with the guidelines of professional nursing and the perception of the nursing process as a core task of nursing action. The ability to shape relationships, which is characterized by empathy and openness. A pronounced willingness to learn and perform (digital competence).
