On the therapy station STEP (Specialized therapy for people with psychotic illnesses) of the Clinic for Psychosis and Addiction of the UPZ, you accompany people with psychotic illnesses on their individual path towards more stability and independence. Together with a committed interprofessional team, you design recovery-oriented treatment in which personal resources, self-determination, and a trusting therapeutic relationship are the focus. In the day service, you contribute your nursing expertise and support our patients in better understanding their illness and developing individual coping strategies.

Your Tasks

• Together with your team colleagues, you create a safe and pleasant environment for our patients
• With your professional competence and successful relationship management, you contribute to high patient satisfaction
• You take on the role of nursing reference person and accompany people with psychotic illnesses through acute crises up to rehabilitation
• You professionally design complex nursing situations and lead discussion rounds as well as patient groups within the framework of our milieu therapy offering
• You orient yourself towards the approaches Recovery, Safewards, and «Stimmen hören verstehen» and support our patients in their individual development
• You are responsible for the nursing process and actively participate in the interprofessional treatment
• With your appreciative manner and your constructive-critical thinking approach, you contribute to the further development of our structures and processes

Your Profile

• You have completed training as a diplomierte Pflegefachfrau or diplomierter Pflegefachmann HF/FH
• Ideally, you already have professional experience in psychiatry
• You work goal- and result-oriented, place the needs of our patients at the center, and possess high social competence
• You are interested in the entire spectrum of adult psychiatry, especially in the treatment and accompaniment of people with psychotic disorders
• You like to take responsibility, reflect on your actions, and participate actively in interprofessional cooperation
