Project Manager Primary Engineering

You lead technical planning and execution of gas-insulated switchgear projects, ensuring engineering deliverables meet scope, schedule and quality requirements.

Tasks

• Plan and manage the Primary Engineering scope in GIS customer projects, including cost, schedule and scope of delivery
• Coordinate technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare technical detailing of the high-voltage part of gas-insulated switchgear
• Create documentation for ordering, fabrication, assembly and customer approval
• Order and configure project-specific material
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation and commissioning until on-site assembly completion
• Travel occasionally for customer meetings or site visits

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Several years of relevant experience in project engineering, ideally with gas-insulated switchgear or high-voltage systems
• Good understanding of engineering project execution including scope, schedule, cost, quality, documentation and material ordering
• Experience with CAD tools such as Creo or AutoCAD, as well as SAP and Microsoft Office
• Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders in an international environment
• Fluent in English; German or another language is an advantage
