Physics Laboratory Technician*

Your tasks ##

• Design and manufacture (turning, milling, drilling) of simple production and test tools, as well as experimental setups
• Planning, manufacture, implementation, and evaluation of process validation tests, e.g., soldering tests between superconductor and copper for current feed into the magnets
• Instrumentation of superconducting magnets with thermal, magnetic, and electrical sensors, including data acquisition and evaluation
• Manufacture of coils from superconductors, under guidance

Your profile ##

• Completed vocational training as a Physics Laboratory Technician* with a flair for mechanical work and simple constructions.
• High motivation to familiarize yourself with this exciting subject area, develop further, and find innovative solutions
• Independent and structured way of working (documentation)
• Confident communication in English and interest in working in an international environment
