Project Manager Injection Molding Technology

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality as Project Manager Injection Molding Technology.

Your tasks

• Technical management of customer projects in close cooperation with the Head of Operations
• Collaboration in customer projects with a focus on injection molding technology
• Planning and coordinating initial samples, including initial sample test reports
• Technical support and manufacturing technology consulting for customers' technical teams
• Technical design and realization of injection molds
• Management of the product portfolio as well as technical support for internal and external bodies
• Technical support for production, process technology, tool maintenance, and quality assurance
• Technical support in the procurement of injection molds, injection molding machines, and peripheral devices from external suppliers
• Creation of documentation, specifications, instructions, and training materials
• Accompanying tool sampling and acceptance at external suppliers domestically and abroad
• Training of production employees
• Construction, setup, and operation of 3D printing
• Proven experience in project management
• Technical support of the injection molding plant
• Technical support of process technology
• Technical support of quality assurance
• Ensuring the proper use of work and operating equipment
• Deputy of the Head of Operations
• Collaboration in cross-departmental projects
• Visiting trade fairs if required

Your profile

• Completed vocational training EFZ plastics technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Technical further education or a degree from a university of applied sciences is an advantage
• Experience in plastic injection molding production
• Competencies in project management
• ERP system knowledge
• 3D CAD user knowledge (Solid Edge)
• Sound knowledge in the development and manufacture of plastic parts
• Experience in the field of IATF 16949 is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, Chinese is an advantage
