Social Worker Family Profile, Focus on Child Protection Mandates ## 80 % Tasks • You support and advise families in financial and social difficulties. • You work polyvalently: You direct economic social assistance, advise families in difficult situations and primarily conduct civil law child protection mandates. Variety is guaranteed. • On behalf of the Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutzbehörde, you investigate threats to child welfare. • You document your work traceably in a case management system. • You are supported administratively by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist departments and work closely with your colleagues in the team. • There is the possibility, if interested, to take over the deputy role for the team leadership. Profile • Degree in Social Work from a University of Applied Sciences is mandatory • Professional experience in the direction of economic social assistance and/or in child and youth welfare, corresponding further training is a plus • Commercial flair and good knowledge of financial topics • Joy in working with people and various family constellations and good handling of conflicting expectations • Rapid grasp of complex situations and the ability to take on different roles in counseling and support We offer A versatile, varied activity at an attractive location in Zürich with the option for flexible working models.
