Facility Manager - Technical Manager of Building Facilities Job Advertisement – Technical Manager of Building Facilities Location: Plan-les-Ouates (CTN – Job type: Full-time The position We are looking for an experienced and proactive Technical Manager of Building Facilities to ensure the technical management, operation, maintenance, and optimization of the facilities of a multi-tenant site with varied and complex technical equipment. The ideal candidate possesses solid field experience allowing them to carry out technical inspections, readings, measurements, and first-level adjustments, to identify malfunctions, to plan maintenance operations, and to coordinate specialized companies. Training or practical experience in a building trade (electricity, heating, ventilation, sanitary, carpentry, locksmithing, metal construction, construction management, or equivalent) constitutes a real asset. We are looking for an autonomous, organized, and pragmatic person, endowed with excellent interpersonal skills and capable of ensuring rigorous administrative follow-up (emails, reports, quotes, and budgets). Your main missions Ensure the daily technical management of the buildings. Guarantee the proper functioning of technical installations (HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electricity, mechanics, security, and fire protection). Carry out technical inspections, readings, measurements, and first-level adjustments. Identify malfunctions and implement corrective actions. Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance. Supervise specialized companies and control the quality of interventions. Manage quotes, orders, and maintenance budgets while ensuring cost optimization. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and internal procedures. Coordinate repair, renovation, and improvement projects for the facilities. Ensure administrative follow-up and be the main technical interlocutor for tenants. Participate in the organization of emergency interventions (alarms, security, fire department, police, subcontractors) as well as coverage for weekends, public holidays, and vacations. Your profile Confirmed experience (10 years desired) in the technical management of buildings or a similar function. Solid practical knowledge of technical building installations. Experience in coordinating specialized companies. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with common IT tools. Fluent French and a good level of English. Excellent interpersonal skills with tenants, partners, and technical teams. Will be considered assets: Technical training (CFC, Brevet, ES, HES, or equivalent).
