Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant Center for Geriatric Medicine 100% Duration: 1-4 months As a medical assistant in the Center for Geriatric Medicine, you can get involved in everyday life, participate actively in the medical team, and gain valuable experience. Your tasks You will accompany and support our resident doctors during admission examinations, the performance of geriatric assessments, rounds, and administrative tasks. Upon request and if suitable, you can care for inpatient patients independently under supervision. As a student, you will be closely accompanied and supported by the resident doctor as well as the senior physician. In this way, you can gain first practice-relevant experience in the care of geriatric, multimorbid, or severely ill patients in the palliative care department. Insights into outpatient dementia assessment, consultative services, and participation in the care of residents in long-term care are possible. Your profile You are studying human medicine at a university. You can integrate into operational processes, show interest, and demonstrate a friendly manner with patients, employees, and supervisors.
