The Geriatric Psychiatry Service offers psychiatric, psychosocial, and psychotherapeutic treatments to the elderly population of the canton of Genève within the framework of a public service mission. The service contributes to the prevention of mental illnesses and the psychosocial consequences of psychiatric disorders in collaboration with various partners. As part of your activities, you provide psychomotor assessments and therapies to patients of AVS age, followed in a day hospital. You guarantee the quality and continuity of care for patients. You develop and implement an individualized therapeutic project. You are responsible for conducting psychomotor therapeutic measures in groups and individually. You are able to collaborate and work in a multi-professional team and to work in therapeutic co-management. You respect confidentiality and professional secrecy as well as HUG procedures. Qualifications You hold a HES Bachelor or HES Master in psychomotricity or an equivalent diploma with Swiss recognition for foreign training. The right to practice is indispensable. Knowledge of mental health and psychiatry as well as clinical experience in institutional and outpatient settings are desired. Experience in psychomotor therapy with adults is indispensable. Possessing self-knowledge and self-control, you are aware of your own limits and have good emotional management. You have a significant capacity for listening and empathy and a sense of interdisciplinarity.
