EHS Manager # (m/w/d) freelance/in temporary employment for a project Solothurn Start date: immediately Reference number: 884030/1 Tasks ### • Definition, implementation and continuous development of the site-specific EHS strategy and EHS goals, in close coordination with global company guidelines • Taking over the function as safety officer and dangerous goods officer as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health and safety regulations • Responsibility for the maintenance and development of management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including audits, risk assessments, certifications and corrective actions • Monitoring of EHS performance through KPI reporting, GEMBA walks, accident prevention and employee training to promote a sustainable safety culture (Zero Accidents) • Cooperation with authorities, service providers, suppliers and external partners as well as ensuring regulatory compliance at the site • Leadership of the local EHS committee, organization of emergency and safety training as well as EHS inspection and release of plant, facility and validation documentation Profile ### • Completed degree or higher education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, building services engineering or a comparable technical field • Further education or certification as a safety officer with in-depth knowledge in occupational safety, environmental protection, risk management and dangerous goods management • Robust multi-year professional experience in the area of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), ideally in a regulated industry, production, pharma or medical technology environment • Proven experience with EHS management systems, in particular ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including auditing, compliance and continuous improvement • Negotiation-secure German and English language skills as well as pronounced communication skills in dealing with authorities, management and operational teams • Independent, proactive and solution-oriented personality with high social competence, diplomatic skill and experience in stakeholder management Benefits ### • Pleasant working climate • Varied activity in a renowned company • Support throughout the entire application process
