Co-educator

Working in a daycare is more than a profession; it is the daily accompaniment of little wonders.
We are looking for a warm professional for our location in Rapperswil to mindfully accompany our smallest Explorers through everyday life starting from spring 2027.

YOUR ROLE & TASKS

Relationship-oriented care for infants/toddlers:

• You carry out care activities (nappy changing, grooming, meals) as a sensitive, relationship-oriented 1:1 interaction based on Pikler pedagogy.

Mindful everyday design:

• You accompany the infants & toddlers as a "co-discoverer," providing security and creating a clear rhythm for their autonomous development.

Concept & project implementation:

• You actively implement focuses in movement and aesthetics (e.g., Lapurla) in everyday life and document the individual developmental steps of the children.

Teamwork & co-creation:

• You work hand in hand with the group leader and contribute your own ideas to the team with commitment.

Educational partnership:

• You maintain an appreciative and trusting exchange with the parents.

WHAT YOU BRING
Qualification:

• Completed training as a Fachperson Betreuung (FaBe Kind), Dipl. Kleinkinderzieher/in, or an equivalent pedagogical qualification.

Attitude & Sensitivity:

• A reflexive personality with a high degree of empathy and mindfulness for the signals of children.

Pedagogical interest:

• Willingness and joy in working deeply with Pikler pedagogy and modern educational approaches.

Languages & Environment:

• Joy in a bilingual environment (German/English; advanced English skills are a plus, but not a requirement).

Personality:

• Warmth, reliability, team spirit, and openness to a dynamic environment.
