Safety Officer (M/F)

*Introduction* ## For our Quality & Sustainability department, we are looking for a Safety Officer (M/F) whose main mission will be to guarantee the occupational safety of employees, visitors, as well as external service providers. *Responsibilities* ## • Constantly identify, analyze, and reduce risks inherent to workstations, including the creation and updating of hazard maps and risk analyses • Develop, implement, and maintain a safety culture through ad hoc actions and prevention campaigns • Plan, execute, control, and continuously improve occupational safety processes • Ensure compliance with local and federal legal requirements regarding occupational safety • Train and sensitize employees to safety protocols, particularly during the integration of newcomers • Process and analyze accidents and incidents according to the 8D method and ensure the follow-up of corrective action plans • Participate in internal OSH audits and define, share, and manage the resulting action plans • Actively collaborate with Occupational Health teams and contribute to the Integrated Management System (IMS) approach • Define, implement, and maintain documentation for occupational safety standards • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment • Monitor key performance indicators and propose avenues for improvement • Develop skills through continuous training *Profile* ## • Safety engineer/safety officer or STPS expert/specialist or interest in training • Initial technical or scientific training, ideally chemistry, physics • More than 5 years of experience in the field of occupational safety in an industrial environment, large and medium-sized company • Mastery of ISO environments (9001, 45001) and project management • Basic technical and scientific knowledge (chemistry, physics, electricity, mechanics, ...) • Good practice of standard office tools, project management software; ERP, Sharepoint is an asset • Ease in conducting training and public speaking • Writing skills and analytical and synthesis spirit • Dynamic, proactive, organized, autonomous, rigorous, and pragmatic • Diplomacy, sense of persuasion, and negotiation skills • Good listening skills, interpersonal ease with different interlocutors and hierarchical levels, and aptitude to integrate into a close-knit team *Conclusion* ## We offer you a stimulating environment, excellent working conditions, solutions for flexible working hours, and first-class social benefits.
