Head Strategic Maintenance & Maintenance Excellence

As Head of Strategic Maintenance & Maintenance Excellence, you are responsible for the strategic further development of maintenance in a successful industrial company in Aargau. You ensure the harmonization of standards, drive the transformation towards modern, data-driven, and risk-oriented maintenance, and support the various locations in the implementation of a sustainable maintenance excellence strategy.

Your tasks

• Development and further development of the maintenance strategy roadmap
• Introduction and further development of TPM approaches
• Promotion of risk-based maintenance and increasing organizational maturity
• Leadership of transformation and change initiatives in the area of maintenance
• Harmonization of processes, standards, and methods throughout the entire operation
• Definition and further development of KPI systems for performance control
• Conducting performance reviews as well as analysis of deviations and improvement potentials
• Establishment of benchmarking processes and consistent measure management
• Leadership and further development of the maintenance team within the company
• Ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer and close cross-departmental cooperation

Your profile

• Several years of experience in a leadership role in maintenance & maintenance excellence
• Sound knowledge in TPM, Reliability Engineering
• Experience in using SAP PM/ or comparable maintenance systems
• Strong competence in performance control using KPIs, reporting, and analysis systems
• Experience in strategy development and organizational transformation
• Knowledge in standardization, process optimization, and maturity models
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in cause and deviation analyses
• Demonstrable successes in change and improvement management
• Leadership experience both functional and disciplinary
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Several years of experience in the maintenance of a production plant or a multi-site environment
• Successful implementation of TPM or comparable maintenance excellence programs
• Experience in data-driven performance control and continuous improvement
• Very good knowledge of SAP PM
• German native language as well as convincing communication skills; English, Spanish, and French are an advantage.
