About the company:

We are an internationally oriented Swiss asset management company based in the Canton of Schwyz. As an asset manager within the meaning of the Swiss Financial Institutions Act (FINIG), we offer our clients asset management, financial advisory, and related financial services.
We operate in an international environment and act both on our own account and on behalf of third parties. In doing so, we combine financial expertise with an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and developing investment opportunities.
As part of the next phase of our company development, we are looking for a proven and internationally experienced personality as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company, strengthen the existing business, and drive strategic expansion into new markets and investment sectors, with a primary focus on Life Sciences (especially artificial intelligence) and international markets – with a focus on Great Britain, Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Your role:

As CEO, you bear overall responsibility for the strategic, operational, and commercial development of the company. In close cooperation with the Board of Directors, the shareholders, and other high-level stakeholders, you define and implement the corporate strategy and lead the further development of the company as an internationally oriented Swiss asset manager.
You combine strong leadership and investment competence with entrepreneurial thinking, extensive transaction experience, and a deep understanding of international financial markets.

How you contribute to success:

• Taking overall responsibility for the strategic, operational, and commercial leadership of the company as well as implementing its long-term vision into measurable business goals.
• Identification, assessment, and exploitation of new markets with a focus on Great Britain, Asia, and Eastern Europe, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships in the field of Life Sciences (especially artificial intelligence).
• Driving fundraising initiatives and further expanding the company's international investor and business network, particularly in Great Britain, Asia, and Eastern Europe in the aforementioned financial areas.
• Leadership and supervision of investment activities in the areas of asset and portfolio management, corporate finance, M&A, private equity, and fundraising.
• Leadership, development, and promotion of the management team and employees, as well as establishing a culture of excellence, accountability, integrity, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Requirements:

• A university degree with very good academic achievements from a top university in Life Science Entrepreneurship.
• Sound industry knowledge and relevant professional experience in the field of Life Sciences and AI, including the ability to assess companies, technologies, markets, and investment opportunities in these sectors.
• Several years of international leadership experience in the financial industry, ideally in the asset or wealth management industry, investment management, private equity, corporate finance, investment banking, or a comparable environment.
• A proven track record in several of the following areas: corporate finance and financial analysis, M&A and transaction execution, fundraising, private equity, portfolio management, and investment management with a special focus on Life Sciences (esp. artificial intelligence).
• Proven ability to identify and develop new markets and business opportunities and to translate strategic opportunities into sustainable commercial growth – preferably with leadership experience in the Asian region as well as Great Britain.
• Strong communication, representation, and negotiation skills as well as the ability to build trusting relationships with boards of directors, shareholders, investors, clients, and other high-level stakeholders.
• A high degree of integrity, discretion, resilience, and sound judgment, even when dealing with confidential information and complex decisions.
• Language skills: English and Russian.
• Willingness to hold the position with the place of work in Switzerland.
