Network & Security Engineer (Specialist Fortinet)

We are an established headhunting company specialized in successfully placing highly qualified professionals. On behalf of our client, a leading trading company in its industry with its headquarters in Zürich (City), we are looking for a Network & Security Engineer (Specialist Fortinet) # In this challenging position, you will be responsible, together with your team, for the maintenance and administration as well as the engineering of national and international networks (the network devices are based exclusively on Cisco). You will take on tasks in the area of network security and network performance and operate them with the support of the network provider. The main task is network security (firewall (Fortinet/Fortigate), web proxy, email security (including Seppmail and Cisco), etc.). You will evaluate, plan and carry out upgrades (project consulting for the provider) and create/update system documentation. Furthermore, you will take on tasks in the area of 2nd and 3rd level support (network-specific) and support the specialist departments in technical questions. Experience in the areas of firewall/security with Fortinet is an important prerequisite for this role. You communicate confidently in German and fluently in English (word and writing).
