Head of Central Services Department for Culture and Sport, 80-90% The Department for Culture and Sport (AKS) enables a broad population to access culture, history and sport. The Central Services are the service center for the department, its employees and partners. For the Central Services department, we are looking for a head of Central Services, 80-90%, at the Solothurn location, starting immediately or by agreement. Your responsibility You will be responsible for the technical and operational responsibility of accounting (debtors, creditors, general ledger, monthly and annual closing as well as budgeting processes). You will lead the Central Services of the Department for Culture and Sport in organizational, personnel and technical terms. In your function, you will support and advise the department management in strategic and operational issues and develop decision-making bases. You will be responsible for the further development of support and service processes. With competence and interest, you will lead and accompany, among other things, forward-looking IT and digitization projects. Your profile You have a federal certificate of proficiency in finance and accounting and/or a completed degree or further education (uni/FH/HF) in business administration, controlling, accounting or a comparable field. We require several years of professional experience in accounting as well as a high degree of initiative, independence and service orientation. In addition to SAP knowledge, you bring experience with common controlling tools such as Power BI and Excel at an expert level. You are familiar with the administrative processes of a public administration and preferably the political structures of the canton of Solothurn.
