Since 1629, the Musikkollegium Winterthur has been one of the most significant institutions for classical music and musical education – with an impact extending far beyond Switzerland. As an association, it manages both the professional orchestra and the Konservatorium Winterthur, bringing together around 200 employees and musicians under its roof.

In the course of a restructuring of the Finance & Personnel department, we are looking for a

Specialist Finance and Accounting (50-70%)

YOUR CHALLENGE

In this role, you will be responsible, independently and in close cooperation with your colleagues from the Finance & Personnel team, for all financial processes – from accounts payable and accounts receivable to the general ledger and closing activities. You will successively take on co-responsibility for payroll accounting and contribute your know-how to HR tasks as well. Furthermore, you will actively participate in the further expansion of the controlling structures.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a commercial education with further training in finance and accounting with a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) and bring experience in the preparation of annual financial statements – ideally supplemented by know-how in the non-profit and/or cultural sector. A structured, precise, and independent way of working, even in demanding situations, characterizes you as much as high reliability. You enjoy working with numbers, simultaneously value contact with people, and are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
