You will play a key role in developing and anchoring our safety culture while supporting our sites and employees in all aspects of occupational health and safety. As a member of our newly created Health & Safety team, you will have the opportunity to actively shape the function, bring your expertise and contribute to the successful implementation of health and safety initiatives across the organization. Your mission • Advise and support management, department heads and team leaders on all occupational health and safety issues. • Coordinate the Health & Safety team and work closely with organizational stakeholders to promote and maintain a strong safety culture. • Communicate effectively on health and safety topics and strengthen visibility and awareness of occupational health and safety across the organization. • Promote continuous improvement of occupational health and safety by proactively identifying and advancing key safety initiatives. • Lead and implement your own occupational health and safety projects. • Collaborate with external consultants, professional associations and regulatory authorities on occupational health and safety issues. • Plan and conduct regular health and safety audits. • Take charge of developing and implementing Health & Safety training programs and safety briefings for employees. What is your level of mastery in these areas? • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. • Excellent relational skills, with tact, diplomacy and the ability to influence and persuade others. • Completed technical training or professional technical training. • Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach to work. • Previous experience in team management, with at least 2 years of experience in a comparable position. • Formal qualification in occupational health and safety (minimum: Occupational Safety Assistant or equivalent). • Experience in process optimization and knowledge of internal control systems (ICS) is an advantage. • Common mastery of German and English, both written and spoken; French is an asset. • High level of resilience, strong teamworking skills and ability to work autonomously with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
