The Migros Zürich cooperative with around 6'000 employees supplies the Greater Zurich Area from its Herdern operations center in a 24/7 operation: Over 220 locations are supplied with fresh products daily. Here, you will take on responsibility as a Security Specialist in a dynamic, complex environment. Important information: Early: 08:00-16:00 (on weekends/public holidays) / Late: 16:00-24:00 / Night: 00:00-08:00 What you drive * You monitor the reception desk during continuous operation, operate security-relevant technology, and process reports and alarms. * You carry out regular control rounds and ensure safety and order on the premises. * You intervene in medical emergencies as well as fire, gas, and technical alarms (HVAC). * You manage the telephone switchboard, forward calls, and provide information. * You receive and register visitors and assist with general inquiries. * You manage the handing out and return of keys for authorized persons. What you bring * Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ) * Specialization: Completed technical training or equivalent * Professional experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in the required area * Technical flair and rapid understanding of security and building technology. * Flexible, resilient personality with an impeccable record and good physical condition; willingness for irregular working hours including night and weekend shifts. * Good PC user skills, quick comprehension of monitoring, control center, and access systems as well as good MS-Office skills. * High reliability, independent and customer-oriented way of working, confident appearance even in hectic situations. * Willingness to learn, joy in further training, and strong teamwork skills. * German (B1) What we offer you * Central place of work: Working in Zürich West * Mobility: With the unique annual leisure bonus of a total of max.
