• Perform preparatory work for aircraft being handed over to pilots and being taken back by them
• Carry out intermediate flight checks and re-installations
• Perform periodic maintenance work and repairs on aircraft
• Participate in training modules abroad
• Contribute as a technical instructor to the troops

What makes you unique

• EFZ as a polymechanic, mechatronic or equivalent training with several years of professional experience, preferably in the aviation environment; pronounced interest in aviation and its new technologies
• Good competencies in the field of electronics
• Independent action, ability to work in a team and suitability to convey technical know-how
• Physical and mental resilience, impeccable reputation (personnel security check)
• Readiness and suitability to perform irregular work assignments, also at night, on weekends and holidays, as well as occasional assignments and training abroad
• Good oral knowledge of a second official language as well as good English skills (level B1)

Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the Special Forces Command, and the Military Police.
