We are looking for, as of 1 August 2026 or by arrangement, for our counseling center in Huttwil a Social Worker 50- 100 % (Job sharing possible) ## The Sozialdienst Region Trachselwald supports and advises people in difficult life situations from thirteen municipalities in the Emmental and Oberaargau. Our team works at two counseling centers in Huttwil and in Sumiswald. As a social worker, you will receive valuable support in social work from us through the Administration team, the Accounting team, and a lawyer, as well as regular intervision and supervision. We work in modernly equipped offices with digital dossier management. Thanks to the continuous optimization of our service, we have already been able to reduce the caseload. For an optimal start, we offer you an even further reduced number of cases during the induction phase. Your tasks ### sare the personal counseling of individuals and families and their support with economic assistance, the management of legal guardianship in child and adult protection, and the carrying out of investigations based on reports of danger for the benefit of the KESB. You bring ### a diploma from a university of applied sciences for Social Work HFS/FH/BSc or another equivalent qualification. Or is your degree within reach? Then apply! Are you resilient, can you set boundaries, do you possess good administrative skills and solid IT user knowledge (Word, Excel, possibly KLIB)? You will take over cases in stages and will thus be able to gradually familiarize yourself with the areas of social assistance and/or child and adult protection.
