In daily practice, you will contribute your in-depth expertise and support the nursing team in the inpatient setting based on a recovery-oriented and person-centered attitude. Together with the nursing experts, you will actively participate in the continuous further development of the work organization as well as in the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative concepts. Your tasks You will work on the development and implementation of the Bachelor profile in the inpatient setting of geriatric psychiatry, including clinical assessment and specialist leadership. In doing so, you will receive comprehensive induction, coaching, and support from an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) You take over the care and support of patients You maintain an overview of the current situation on the ward You support team members in complex care situations You work closely with the nursing experts, especially in complex situations and with recurring patients You are part of the interprofessional team You actively participate in practice development projects Your profile You have a completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing You bring professional experience in psychiatry and/or in the care of people with dementia and delirium You convince through excellent manners as well as through strong social and professional competence You work independently and keep a cool head even in hectic moments You are characterized by an appreciative basic attitude, which you combine with humor and enthusiasm The UPZ The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region.
