Frauenfeld \| 80-100% (Jobsharing möglich) You can make this contribution • Take over technical management for the operation of the information and communication technology basic infrastructure in the data center on Layer 1 -- this includes planning and implementing LWL and Cu installations, hardware installations and dismantling, exchanging them, as well as commissioning and decommissioning • Analyze and rectify faulty hardware system states and LWL and Cu network sections (Incident Management) and support reconstruction and restart procedures, e.g. after system failures in the areas of IKT and TGM • Support local management of data center areas, system rooms, and inventory with SAP and monitor the operating status using Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) • Collaborate in operational projects and perform on-site deployments, e.g. during migrations or infrastructure expansions • Regularly perform standby duty and intervene in hardware and building technology malfunctions (HLKSE) outside regular working hours <br /> What makes you unique • Completed further training as a technician in the fields of telecommunications and/or system/network technology and/or facility management or equivalent, as well as basic technical training (EFZ) in the fields of electrical engineering, telematics, electronics, or multimedia electronics • Professional experience in the field of operating IT infrastructures (data centers) is an advantage, with networked specialist knowledge of IT areas of activity • Knowledge of cabling systems on Layer 1 according to the current state of the art, including the necessary standards and norms • Logical and analytical thinking, independence, resilience, precise working methods, discretion, and willingness to perform standby duty <br /> In a nutshell You take on responsibility and a central role in a technically demanding environment.
