For our client, a technically oriented company with customer-specific manufacturing solutions, we are looking for a designer or mechanical engineering technician (m/f) who wants to combine their technical know-how with organizational skills.

The position is deliberately designed to be versatile: around 50% of the activity is dedicated to design, while the other half is located in the area of AVOR and production planning. In doing so, you accompany orders from technical elaboration through work preparation to implementation in production.

Good knowledge of 3D-CAD, ideally SolidWorks, as well as strong organizational talent are particularly important. At the same time, the position offers interesting long-term development opportunities.

Your task ##

• Development and design of customer-specific technical solutions
• Creation and editing of 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings
• Creation and maintenance of bills of materials, manufacturing documents and technical documentation
• Preparation of orders for internal production
• Planning and coordination of manufacturing processes
• Coordination of material requirements, deadlines and production capacities
• Technical clarification of orders and accompaniment of implementation
• Close cooperation with production, purchasing and other internal departments
• Support in improving existing workflows and manufacturing processes
• Coordination of various orders and priorities in daily business
• Increasing assumption of technical clarifications with customers
• Prospectively working on or taking over own projects

Your profile ##

• Completed technical training, for example as a designer, polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder or comparable
• Further training as a mechanical engineering technician HF or a comparable further training is an advantage
• Experience in design and/or work preparation
• Very good user knowledge of a 3D-CAD system, ideally SolidWorks
• Good technical understanding and spatial imagination
• Enjoyment of a versatile function between office, design and production
• Strong organizational and structured way of working
• Independent, solution-oriented and reliable personality
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cooperation with various contact persons
• Willingness to take on increasing responsibility in the future
• Fluent German skills
