Specialist in Care / Specialist in Social Pedagogy (60-80%)

We are a non-profit foundation with a wide range of residential services and daily structures for people with disabilities. ### For the intensive residential group Schüpfeflue, we are looking to strengthen our teams as of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement for a Specialist in Care / Specialist in Social Pedagogy (60-80%) ## with experience and professional competence in accompanying people with cognitive disabilities and ideally in dealing with challenging behaviors. People live in the intensive residential group who, due to their disability, are dependent on individually adapted support and accompaniment in their daily lives. Daily life is aligned with the respective needs of the residents with the goal of the highest possible quality of life. This versatile, exciting and demanding care task requires a high degree of social competence and teamwork skills. Your area of responsibility ### • Accompanying, caring for, assisting, and nursing the residents in their living environment and supporting participation in social life, taking their daily condition into account • Documentation of care processes • Cooperation in agogic process design and planning based on the quality of life concept • Reference person work including contacts and relationship work with relatives and legal representatives What distinguishes you ### • You appreciate working in individual settings or small groups. You consider consultations and coordination within the team to be an important and binding basis for your work. • Flexible, situation-dependent reacting does not easily unsettle you. Discussing situations afterwards is part of your professional self-image. • Your attitude towards people with cognitive and psychological disabilities is characterized by appreciation and openness. Your interest in getting to the bottom of the functions of behaviors shapes your work. • Ideally, you have a degree as a Specialist in Health, Specialist in Care, or in Social Pedagogy.
