Operational Risk Officer (M/F)

For our client based in Genève, we are actively looking for an Operational Risk Officer.

Your mission ##

Within the Risk Management team, you contribute to the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of the bank's operational risks. You support the various business lines in strengthening the internal control framework and actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving risk management and governance.

Your responsibilities ##

• Participate in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational risks.
• Ensure the monitoring of operational incidents and associated action plans.
• Contribute to the implementation and review of Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
• Participate in the monitoring of key risk indicators (KRI) and key controls.
• Produce analyses, dashboards, and reportings intended for management and governance committees.
• Support business lines in improving their control environment.
• Participate in the evolution of risk management policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Contribute to regulatory, governance, and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance, Audit, Operations, and Front Office teams.

Your profile ##

• University degree in Finance, Banking, Risk Management, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a function related to Risk Management, Internal Control, Audit, or Compliance within a financial institution.
• Good knowledge of the banking environment and internal control frameworks.
• Understanding of operational risk concepts, incidents, RCSA, and KRIs.
• Advanced mastery of Excel and ease in producing reportings.
• Fluent French and English.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
• Sense of organization and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
