Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher (M/F/D) – CDI 100% – Vallée de Joux

On behalf of our client, a dynamic establishment located in the heart of Vallée de Joux, we are looking for a motivated and versatile Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher (M/F) to complete the kitchen team for a permanent engagement.

Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher (M/F/D) – CDI 100% – Vallée de Joux

• Sector: Vallée de Joux (VD)
• Contract type: Permanent position (CDI)
• Activity rate: 100%
• Hours: Variable hours with split shifts and 1 weekend out of 2 worked (must be available evenings, weekends, and public holidays, according to the establishment's needs)
• Start date: From October 2026

Main missions:

• Ensure the washing, disinfection, and storage of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure the constant cleanliness of the dishwashing area in order to provide clean equipment to the kitchen and service at all times.
• Assist the kitchen team in the preparation of ingredients (peeling, cutting), the mise en place of dishes, and cooking under supervision.
• Clean and disinfect work surfaces, equipment, the pantry, and storage areas in strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Provide occasional support to the dining room service and during mise en place for special events

Profile sought:

• First successful experience in a similar position in a kitchen
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and hygiene/maintenance rules in catering.
• Sense of organization, team spirit, and good time management to handle rushes.
• Ability to work under pressure, versatility, and concern for customer satisfaction.
• Excellent physical condition and rigor in work.
