Student mission - IT Consultant at 50%

Job description

On behalf of our client, a Swiss banking institution, we are looking for an IT Consultant at 50%, currently a student in computer science or business informatics. You will support the IT Operations team in updating business documents, monitoring IT requests, and Microsoft Cloud projects.

The mission will begin as soon as possible and will continue until 31 December 2026, with a possibility of extension in 2027.

Main missions

• Support the IT Operations team in the production and updating of business documents.
• Produce and update forms in a dedicated tool, in connection with the central banking system Finnova.
• Contribute to the reduction of the backlog of documents to be updated.
• Participate in the management and monitoring of IT requests.
• Provide support for team projects, particularly the Microsoft Cloud Business App project.
• Collaborate with business teams and IT department members to ensure the monitoring of needs and requests.

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• Being a student at a university or a higher education institution in computer science or business informatics, such as HEG.
• Having technical knowledge in computer science, ideally in development.
• Possessing basic knowledge in project management.
• Having completed at least one IT technical project and being able to present it during the interview.
• Demonstrating interpersonal skills and being able to collaborate with business units and IT teams.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud environment is an asset.
• Residing in Switzerland is a prerequisite for this mission.
• Available at 50%, with a start as soon as possible.
