With advanced technology, it generates energy from waste for households and companies and supplies a continuously growing district heating network in the region. Your main tasks

Every year, 4‘600 railway wagons with a total of 14‘000 containers filled with waste are delivered to kenova AG. Together with your supervisor, you ensure smooth shunting services.

You support the container transfer from the railway wagons to the trucks. Further tasks include maintenance / repair work on the containers and the switches as well as environmental maintenance. Occasional assignments outside of usual working hours may occur.

What you bring with you

You have completed vocational training in a technical-manual field. You have already completed the training according to VTE 10 (basic training for operating rail vehicles). Good German language skills in speaking and writing are a prerequisite. You enjoy working outdoors (summer and winter), are physically fit, flexible, proactive, and have a high level of safety awareness. Independence, precise working, and organizational skills round off your profile.
