Operations Specialist HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the area of operation and maintenance of energy generation plants. We combine all the necessary competencies under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering. We operate and maintain a plant park with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the capacity available from hydropower in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants operated by us generate about 16% of the electricity from hydropower in Switzerland. Thanks to our unique expertise, we offer our customers services with high added value that satisfy their diverse needs as well as their high quality requirements. Our range of services is aimed at electricity companies, public institutions, transport companies, and industry. We are mainly active in Switzerland, but occasionally also carry out assignments abroad. Operations Specialist Work location: Ernen Your mission: You will perform necessary maintenance work in various hydropower plants and participate in a cross-functional team in maintenance work on mechanical plant components. Your tasks: Independent execution of repair and maintenance work at various hydropower plants Execution of orders in the area of plant operation (maintenance work, periodic controls and inspections according to program and guideline) Participation in maintenance, renewal and expansion work in the hydropower plants Application of the required safety, quality and environmental regulations for a smooth workflow of the work Ensuring on-call duty Completion of cleaning and environmental work Your competencies: EFZ in the technical field, preferably as a mechanic or electrician 2 to 3 years of experience in an industrial company, preferably in a hydropower plant Independence and sense of responsibility Willingness to work in a team and for geographic mobility Ability to master emergency situations German or French native language with good knowledge of the other language We are one of the leading companies on the market in our field of expertise and offer you excellent employment conditions, further training opportunities and a motivating working atmosphere.
