Shift Leader Warehouse (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• Leadership, motivation and technical support of employees during the shift
• Organization of personnel deployment as well as allocation and prioritization of daily tasks
• Induction and training of new employees as well as conducting team briefings
• Ensuring a smooth material flow and timely order processing
• Early recognition and rectification of bottlenecks, malfunctions and process deviations
• Ensuring error-free and timely picking while adhering to high quality standards
• Ensuring occupational safety, order and cleanliness in the warehouse (5S)
• Monitoring the KPI dashboard (productivity, error rates)
• Implementation of measures to improve workflows.
• Ensuring a complete and documented shift handover.
• Active participation in picking if required.
• Release of orders at the control desk, taking into account optimal utilization of the conveyor system in the high-bay warehouse (HRL)

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as a logistician or corresponding experience in the warehouse sector is an advantage / Very good all-rounder
• Knowledge of SAP or a warehouse management software is an advantage
• IT knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in driving industrial trucks is mandatory
• Experience in lifting loads with a crane is an advantage
• Willingness to perform physical work
• Endurance in performing the activity
• Willingness for shift work
