Burckhardt Genève is looking for an experienced architect to strengthen the team working on the Centre des sciences physiques et mathématiques of the Université de Genève – CSPM. Winner of an SIA 142 architecture competition, this project brings together leading architectural, urban, scientific, technical, and environmental issues. The future center will be located on the banks of the Arve and aims to strengthen the link between science, teaching, the city, and society. Experienced Architect 80\-100% (m/f/d) What awaits you: The project completes the science campus and articulates several universes: a tower dedicated to research, a volume devoted to teaching, as well as a shared base, designed as a space for meeting, circulation, and interaction between the campus and the city. As part of a committed project team, you will actively participate in the architectural and technical development of the CSPM, from design to realization. You will transform the competition's intentions into coherent spatial, technical, and constructive solutions, while ensuring the architectural, constructive, and functional quality of the project. You will develop, check, and coordinate plans, details, sections, facades, diagrams, as well as presentation documents. You will delve into a current digital environment, the interfaces between architecture, structure, building technology, sustainability, and operation. You will also participate in coordination with specialized consultants, authorities, the client, and the various partners of the project. You will support reflections regarding teaching and research spaces, circulation, usage, as well as meeting places. You will contribute to the quality of internal processes, the structuring of documents, and the transmission of information within the team. A precise and structured approach combined with a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team on a demanding project completes your profile. What we desire: You are an experienced architect and wish to commit yourself to a complex, demanding, and meaningful project. Ideally, you bring: You hold an EPF, HES architect diploma or an equivalent qualification. You have proven experience in the development of complex architectural projects in Switzerland. You possess strong constructive and technical skills, acquired on important projects or those presenting high requirements in terms of coordination. You have a good understanding of the different project phases, from design to execution. You work in a structured, autonomous, and collaborative manner. You have a strong architectural sensitivity, combined with a pragmatic approach to detail, construction, and its feasibility. You are comfortable in exchanges with specialized consultants, authorities, companies, and clients. You are proficient in Revit. Knowledge of BIM methods constitutes an advantage. You have perfect command of French, both oral and written. Knowledge of English is an asset. You wish to actively contribute to a major public project at the intersection of science, teaching, the city, and architecture.
