Volunteer Driver (Friday mornings) #
Department: therapeutic riding centre
Start date: 15 October 2026
What you can achieve with us ###
As a volunteer driver, you will safely and reliably transport children in the vehicle of the Blind School of Zollikofen from the school to the riding centre in Schüpfen and back. The accompanied children and young people are blind, visually impaired, multiply disabled and/or on the autism spectrum. Additionally, you will accompany the children you bring to the stable in Schüpfen on the subsequent walk with the horse.
What you bring with you ###
You enjoy contact with blind, visually or multiply impaired children and young people and approach them with openness and respect. Your punctuality and reliability make you a dependable companion. You drive responsibly and thus ensure the necessary safety in road traffic.
What you can look forward to ###
In your role, you take on a great deal of responsibility and receive the corresponding scope for creativity.
Our culture is characterised by appreciation and openness. You will be carefully introduced to the area of activity and become part of a motivated team.
Through your work as a volunteer companion, you have the opportunity to participate in internal training courses at the Blind School.
In our volunteer work, we adhere to the Benevol Standards.
Your contacts ###

What I especially like: the individual support of children and young people with the help of horses, the collaboration with our volunteers and the exchange with my colleagues. Together we overcome small and large challenges."
