Battery & BESS Service Technician

Your missions

• Service, diagnostics and maintenance of battery packs and BESS installations, for stationary systems as well as systems onboard vehicles
• Carrying out commissioning, inspections, fault diagnostics and repairs on high-voltage battery systems directly at customer sites
• Support for new energy projects, notably grid-connected BESS, integration of renewable energies and service programs related to electric vehicles
• Rigorous documentation of service interventions, preparation of reports and professional communication with customers
• Regular travel to project and service sites in Switzerland and internationally — field work is a central element of this position
• Participation and successful completion of training and certification programs from battery manufacturers — continuous learning is expected and supported

What we are looking for

Required

• Proven technical experience with batteries, high-voltage electrical systems or power electronics
• Professional background as an automotive technician, electric vehicle technician or in a similar practical technical trade
• Valid driver's license, at least category B
• Genuine interest in new energies — you want to participate in the energy transition and are not just looking for a job
• Availability and flexibility to travel regularly in Switzerland and internationally
• Openness to manufacturer training and certification programs — you consider learning as part of the job
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in the field
• Work permit for Switzerland and the EU

Assets — not mandatory

• Experience with BESS, solar, wind or other renewable energy systems
• Familiarity with BMS (Battery Management Systems) and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards applicable to high-voltage systems (IEC/CEI)
• Very good knowledge of French and English; other languages are an asset
