At Sprachen Akademie, you decide for yourself which teaching assignments you accept and at which locations you want to teach. For our locations in Zürich, Basel and Winterthur, we are looking for committed language teachers for: German, English, French, Portuguese, Swedish, Japanese, Korean and Persian. Your tasks * You provide private, group or intensive lessons in your teaching language. * You prepare your lessons carefully and align the content with the language level and learning objectives of the participants. * You design understandable, varied lessons with plenty of opportunity for speaking and practicing. * You monitor learning progress and provide helpful feedback. * You maintain reliable communication with our secretariat. What you bring with you * Very good knowledge of your teaching language, at least at level C1 or at native speaker level. * Teaching experience and pleasure in accompanying people in learning languages. * The ability to explain content understandably and to respond to different learning needs. * A reliable, independent way of working and respectful interaction with people of different origins. * A proven SVEB certificate or a comparable pedagogical or language didactic qualification is an advantage. What we offer you * Flexible assignment acceptance: You choose the teaching assignments that suit your availability. The teaching dates are agreed upon together. * A scope of work of 10--100 %, depending on your availability and the existing course offerings. * Assignments at one or more locations: Zürich -- Oerlikon, Hauptbahnhof and Stadelhofen --, Basel or Winterthur. * Internal training sessions through which you can further develop your teaching practice and your professional skills. * Employee discounts on our educational offerings. * Varied teaching assignments and support from our team.
