To strengthen our Medical Advisory Service, we are looking for the following, effective immediately or by arrangement: Medical Advisor with perspective to take over the management of the Medical Advisory Service (m/f/d), 80-100% Your Role In our Medical Advisory Team, you will fulfill a demanding advisory function with a wide-ranging, interesting area of work. You will contribute your medical expertise specifically to insurance medical clarification. As an important link between service providers, insured persons and the insurer, you clarify the medical facts and thus ensure transparency and well-founded assessments. The current head of the Medical Advisory Service will retire in the coming years. Therefore, this position offers an interested and suitable personality the opportunity to gradually take on responsibility and prepare for the later management of the Medical Advisory Service. Your Tasks You advise health insurers on medical specialist issues as well as on questions of remuneration and tariff application and check the requirements for the obligation to provide benefits. You verify compliance with the criteria of effectiveness, appropriateness and economic efficiency of medical services. You advise internal specialist departments on insurance medical issues and support them in complex medical clarifications. You ensure that your assessments are made in accordance with legal requirements and guarantee the protection of data privacy and the personality rights of the insured. If interested and suitable, you will gradually take on additional responsibilities and be prepared for the later takeover of the management of the Medical Advisory Service. Your Profile You possess a specialist title or a foreign specialist title recognized in Switzerland. You bring at least five years of professional experience in independent activity (e.g., own practice or management function in a hospital) with an average workload of at least 80%. Ideally, you already possess the certificate of competence as a Medical Advisor or are willing to complete this additional training. You have at least five years of leadership and project management experience. You bring the will to shape, strategic thinking and the motivation to actively help shape the further development of our Medical Advisory Service. You work independently, structured and responsibly. Analytical thinking, a solution-oriented approach as well as negotiation skills characterize you. In addition, you convince through teamwork and high social competence.
