Scientific Advisor (Lawyer)

You can make this contribution • Ensure legal advice for the National Research and Innovation department of the SBFI • Advise internal and external positions on all legal issues related to national and international research and innovation promotion, particularly in administrative, contract and procedural law • As part of a lawyer pool, provide legal information on the Research and Innovation Promotion Act (FIFG) and assess national and international issues • Contribute to a thorough understanding of the legal and statutory foundations of research and innovation actors within the scope of the SBFI (especially SNF, Innosuisse, academies and research institutions of national importance) • Advise the State Secretary in ongoing legal proceedings and reviews of research and innovation promotion What makes you unique • University degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Law • Excellent knowledge of the Swiss research and innovation landscape • In-depth knowledge of the legal processes of the federal administration and the legal basis of the actors in the research and innovation system • High independence and enjoyment of collaboration with different stakeholders • Very good active knowledge of two official languages and passive knowledge of the third official language What we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the Swiss success model and work for the benefit of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunities, we unfold our competencies and bring different perspectives into play. • Healthy at work We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health.
