Senior Physician: Doctor Radiology (Cardiac Imaging)

The University Institute for Diagnostic, Interventional and Pediatric Radiology (DIPR) of the Inselspital Bern, together with Cardiology, forms the Cardiac Imaging Team (CIT) and offers the entire spectrum of cardiac imaging and the associated clinical patient care in one of the largest cardiovascular imaging centers in Switzerland. This long-established team is closely integrated into the Thoracic-Cardiovascular (TKV) focus of the DIPR. What to expect <br /> • A motivated, collegial and interdisciplinary team in close cooperation with Cardiology as well as high clinical and academic expertise • Approximately 6,000 cardiovascular CT examinations annually on Photon-Counting-CT as well as approximately 2,500 cardiac MRI examinations • Preparation, performance and diagnostics of all cardiac MRI and CT examinations as well as, with increasing experience, also patient management • Integration into the on-call service of general radiology is aimed for from the second year onwards • Active participation in teaching, research and in the further training of assistant physicians <br /> What you bring <br /> • Specialist with great interest in cardiac radiology, ideally with previous experience in the field of cardiovascular radiology • Independent way of working as well as high medical and patient-oriented commitment • Ability to work in a team and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation • Good to very good German skills • Further language skills, especially English, are an advantage <br /> Our offer <br /> • Demanding and varied clinical activity in a clinical-diagnostic center with scientific connection to the University of Bern • Extensive training in diagnostic techniques and therapies • Possibility to acquire international certificates (ESR/ESCVI) • Support for an advanced academic career in the field of cardiac radiology • Possibility of part-time employment, for example with a workload of 80 % <br /> Questions about the position?
