To strengthen our team in Grenchen, we are looking for a committed individual as a CNC Operator (m/f/d) Medical Technology in a permanent full-time position, starting immediately or by arrangement.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

The selected person is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC manufacturing machines for the production of medical implant components, especially screws and plates.

In addition to the manufacturing activity, the careful documentation of production and quality data constitutes an essential part of the activity and accounts for around 50 % of the area of responsibility.

• Operating, setting up, and monitoring modern CNC manufacturing systems for the production of high-precision implant components such as screws and plates
• Ensuring a smooth production process in compliance with work instructions and quality standards
• Carrying out in-process controls as well as quality inspections using appropriate measuring and testing equipment
• Experience in an industrial production environment, ideally in medical technology, precision manufacturing, or a comparably regulated industry
• Processing manufacturing orders as well as recording production and quality data in the MES system
• Active participation in compliance with quality, safety, and compliance requirements within a regulated medical technology environment
• Support with simple maintenance, cleaning, and inspection work on the systems
• Cooperation with quality assurance, production, and technology for the continuous optimization of processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed technical or mechanical vocational training
• Experience in operating CNC systems, ideally on STAR, Citizen, Tornos DECO, or comparable machines
• Technical understanding and interest in precision manufacturing
• Experience in an industrial production environment, preferably in medical technology or comparable industries
• Confident handling of technical drawings, work instructions, and inspection documents
• Experience with measuring and testing equipment
• Good PC skills and high affinity for documentation
• Independent, reliable, and quality-oriented way of working
• Willingness to work in 3-shift operation as well as occasional Saturday shifts
• Teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
