Your challenge

• Operation, further development, and hardening of the IT security infrastructure
• Implementation and optimization of modern security solutions in the infrastructure and cloud environment
• Analysis, processing, and prevention of security incidents as well as support in incident response
• Execution of vulnerability assessments as well as planning and implementation of suitable hardening measures
• Automation of security processes and continuous optimization of the security landscape
• Collaboration in exciting infrastructure and security projects as well as close cooperation with internal IT and infrastructure teams
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as support in 2nd- and 3rd-level support

Your qualities and talents

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, systems engineering, or IT security
• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Security Engineer
• Very good knowledge in the Linux environment as well as experience in the administration and securing of Linux systems
• Experience with networks, firewalls, security monitoring, and vulnerability management
• Good knowledge in the area of scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Ideally experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes as well as hybrid infrastructure or cloud environments
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working as well as high initiative
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
